I am sitting outside on the deck the sun is shining and the sky is blue. I love mornings like this when everyone is still asleep and I can have a few minutes to just think.
Sunday I was sitting on my bed and here comes Carson running full speed into my room in his green monkey pj's and excited as can be. "Mom come here. Do you wanna have some fun?" I followed him out the door and said "sure what are we going to do?" As he jump of the stair of the deck I caught up with him and grabbed his hand and he said "we are going to catch that rainbow." We are going to slide on it. So we ran for a minute and I said son "I think it went to far away." With a smile he replied "Yeah it went to the farm and it is to far away but next time we will catch it."
My baby turned 4 yesterday. He is so much fun and I love that he is getting big enough to hang with the kids and be excited about big kid things. No more diapers, naps, bottles and packing 2 bags everywhere you go. I really love this age it is really fun. But as I sit here and think about how fast he has grown up I get a little teary eyed. He was so tiny when he was born and has never really ever been a very big child. He is so cute and has the funniest personality. He spends hours and hours roaming around the house and shop "working" I remember before we found out he was coming a few months before I had miscarried. When we found out we were expecting I was so excited. He was worth every second of the barfing, and bed rest. I can not even for a second imagine life without him. He was so worth the wait. Carson today I want you to know how much I adore you. You are Moms littles babiest boy. Thank you for being you and helping us laugh everyday. May you always chase rainbows because I believe some day you will actually catch one.
Now I feel like I am constantly writing about Carson, but I also have 2 other amazing kiddos. Red (Hayden) is in all-stars baseball and we are so proud of him. He has already sold enough fundraiser tickets to pay for half of his cost and plans on selling as many more as he can. He is such a responsible guy (he would be upset if I put kid.) and helps so much with Carson while I work. Hayden is very determined and if he puts his mind to it he is going to do it. much to my anxiety he is working on a double back flip on the tramp now. He always wants to be first and will push himself to do it. He gets fantastic grades in school and excels at every sport he plays. (not quite sure where that talent came from.) I want to explain why we call him Red. When Hayden was little he hated his red hair. I think he was the only one because everywhere he went people admired it. Because I do hair I didn't have a problem letting experiement with different colors from dark brown to bleach blonde.(much to the demise of Dad and Grandma Bone:)) Red has this streak in the back of his hair that is white blonde naturally. He started wrestling when he was about 5 and he had a coach that started calling him Red because there were so many other Haydens, and it stuck. Soon He started asking us, teachers and friends to call him Red. Just a quick note he took 3rd at state wrestling that first year. When we moved to Newdale he just told everyone that is what he wanted to be called. His 6th grade teacher Mrs. Stewart.... Who we LOVE (one of those teachers that changes kids lives.) let him sign his name and Red and called him that all thru class. It is fun that he embraces what Heavenly Father gave him and is proud to be Red.
Hayden, I am to hard on you and I don't tell you near enough how amazing you are. You are my angel and several times I wonder where I would be if you hadn't have said you would come into my life before this life. Thank you for choosing me. Thank for teaching me determination. I know that some day you will achieve all of your dreams and then some. I Love your guts .
Now Miss Maycee. Our only girl and she is definately a girly girl. Once she said to me Mom you don't know fashion I know fashion..... I think she was 4 at the time. This girl is a spit fire and she tells you like it is wether you want to hear it or not. She never backs down. She loves to use her imagination and is always wanting to draw, paint, and create things. Yesterday for her brothers birthday she painted him rock green(because he is the green guy.) She wrapped in scrapbook paper and taped it so well he couldn't get it opened.:) He was so excited. Anyway as fiesty as she is, you will never ever meet a someone with a bigger heart and more compassion.(once again no idea where she gets it.) She is always thinking of others. Everytimes someone comes over they leave with something of hers if they say they like it and usually it is something she loves. She always says oh I really don't ever wear that or use that. It is so amazing to me. Maycee loves to cook (really don't know where she got that at all.) She is pretty good at it too. She makes killer french toast and scrampled eggs. For fathers day she made Paul and I breakfast in bed. I got it because she said that she forgot it on mothers day.
Maycee has never met a stranger. She loves everyone. She will play with kids her own age or way younger, but the neatest thing is when she is around adults it is like she doesn't know she is a child. She will have conversations with them like they are her best friends. Something that just amazes me is Maycee will go with me to work (I work with the elderly) and she will spend hours visiting with the residents. She sits with them so they are not alone. Recently when one of our residents passed away his wife was left behind. They had been married over 65 years. Maycee just cried she was so worried about the wife and wrote her a card that said I Love You. When I took Maycer in to see her. She apologized and just hugged her with tears in her eyes. What 9 year old does that. She loves babies and was and is so much help with Carson She is a mother hen. I think if she had her way we would have a lot more babies. She love to spend time with her little cousin Allie whenever she has the chance. Maycee is tenderhearted. If she someone hurting 9 times out of 10 she will cry. She just cares so much about people. Maycer You are such a little doll baby. Thank you for teaching me compassion. I Luv U Sissy.
I am not sure why I felt like I needed to let each of my children know what I love about them and why they are so important to me only that I needed to. I don't really blog so that anyone that read it can listen to me brag about my children or hear about my day I do it so that I can remember the really special or fun moments that we all to often tend to forget.
I also feel as though I need to express my graditude to my Savior and to tell my children who will no doubt read these at some point in there life that I Love my Heavenly Father and my Brother Jesus Christ and I am so very grateful for there love for me. Kids if and when you read this please know that as I don't say it near enough. Heavenly Father knows me and he know each one of the three of you. It wasn't an accident that you came to live with Dad and I and We Love you so much. I only hope I can teach you all that you need to learn and that you always know what you are worth. Hang on to the gospel...it will get you thru some really hard stuff and make the good stuff that much better.
I Luv ur little guts.
Mom.

OUCH!
I spent last weekend in Utah with 2 really great friends. It was quite a trip to say the least. I wasn't feeling well, but still drove down on Thursday thinking it would pass. As the weekend went on I was just feeling worse and worse. I kept saying I am ok, it is just gas. I really didn't want to ruin this fun weekend for my friends and I.
We stayed at Terrins Dad's fiances for the weekend. It was so nice of her to let us stay. We were lounging on the couch when the lady that rents the basement and her daughter came upstairs to inform me that she(the daughter) forgot to set her emergency brake and her car backed into mine.....Ouch #1 That one is a $1638.00 one.
Then later that afternoon we headed to dinner this was after a day of shopping. I still was feeling well crappy. Anyway we were in the car and I set my wedding ring on the seat in when we drove forward the ring slid back and fell down a little hole where the seat belt was and under the carpet inbetween the undercarriage and carpet of the car. OUCHY #2.... The next day nurse Tia worked her tail off and got it out. Bless your heart.
I loved spending time with Tia and Terrin. We laughed and just talked. What 2 amazing friends.
Saturday afternoon I went to Provo to see my Sis-in-law Kelly she did my hair....LOVE IT. Then we grabbed a sandwich and went to her house to change to go to dessert with my cousin Brook. By this point in time I am about to die, but who is going to pass up dessert at a place called Chocolate. (not this gal.) I should have known that when I was having a hard time buttoning my pants before I left something was really wrong.....After and hour and a failed attempt at a good time for me anyway we went back to Kellys where she ran me a hot bath and a shook with chattering teeth. I went to sleep and woke up the next morning thinking okay that was not fun. I put my sweats and hat and a little makeup on and headed for home. By the time I reached Centerville I was dying or so I thought. I called my mother in law and she talked me through till Willard. I made it to about Malad and stopped to use the bathroom and realized I didn't know if I could make it the rest of the way. I called Paul and told him something was really wrong. He said he would come get me and I told him I would just meet him at Community Care. Then I called my friend Tia who said I should probably head straight to the ER. I let my parents know that I wouldn't be able to meet them in Pocatello that I just wanted to get home. My Mom called back and said meet us in Idaho Falls that they wanted to know I was ok. We met at a truck stop where my Dad and Grandpa gave me a blessing. How amazing that I had these two wonderful men in my life and that they are worthy priesthood holders. I Love my Grandpa and my Dad and what a great example they are to me. Then Dad said Mom is driving you the rest of the way. I must have looked pretty hammered. I had driven all the way freezing and hurting with the heat full blast bent over in the seat. We got to the ER where they took me back and put and IV and pain killers in me and then we waited. Blood was taken and a Cat Scan done. The blood work came back normal.... we waited some more. I had an Oviaran cyst rupture and matter in my uterus. OUCH #3! 1 Blighted ovem. 2 Miscarriages and 3 child births a broken hip and ruptured appendix and I am sure this is the worst pain I have ever had. They said that I had to come back the next day for ultrasounds to see what the matter was. They even said the C word (cancer) which freaked me out a little. I am so grateful for the wonderful friends or should I say Sisters that I have who told me that they knew it was going to be ok. Terrin, Tia, Kelly, Holly, Heather, Wendy and my other Mom Helen. I was really nervous. As it turns out it was fluid from the ruptured cyst and I am going to live after all. I am also so grateful for the friends and family who brought dinner Glenda, Holly and Brook. I feel so so blessed to have these amazing angels in my life everyday. My cute Grandma called every# she could thing of to see if I was going to be okay.
I am expecially GRATEFUL for my Mom who came and helped me with my kiddos, planted flowers and held my hand.
Paul was so great! He even stayed in the room when they did the IV and bloodwork. I am lucky to have him and feel so bad that it took me 11 years to realize it. Thanks Babe. I LUV U!
I am so Thankful to my Heavenly Father that this was just a minor thing. I am blessed everyday and I know that he has a hand in my life. He has put amazing people into my life. I have such a great life. :)

Humpty Umpty Oh
Maycee was reading Carson some nursery rhymes in the car. Old McDonald... She would read what the animal did and Carson would say the eieio. After Old McDonald was done and Maycee was reading the next one Carson would finish each one with eieio.......Then it was Humpty Dumpty, when Maycee finished it Carson said "Humpty Umpty Oh. So perfect for Mothers Day. And this is why I am a Mom.

Your not being very nice to me.
Me "Carson don't go outside right now. It is to cold."
Carson "Mom you are not being very nice to me."
Maycee "Mom it isn't cold that is why I am wearing my flip flop, besides I don't even want to go on an Easter egg hunt because if I find and egg then my primary teacher will make me give it to a little kid.."
Not sure where that one came from.
Wish the sun was not just cosmetic and it would warm up man I need summer to get here. Happy Easter everyone.

Funny Boy
Our little Carson what a funny kid. A few of the funny things he said that I need to blog so I will always remember them. He had his tonsil and adnoids out and tube in his ears. A week after it happened he fell off a chair and split his lip clear open. Needless to say it was a bad day. I ran him to the doctor and he looked at the receptionist and said " I Hate My Life." We were all cracking up. He was so serious and we all knew he meant it. He also said over and over "my froat(throat) hurts and I want to go to the hospital and get my froat back in." "I swallowed my froat." One of my favorite things he said is "That is so dang cute." or "thats dewicious" (Delicious.) Today he told me to "Change my attitude." I can't believe how funny this little man is. Because of him we will always say lue lankey(blue blanky) and flate (plate.) Yesterday we took our puppy Doc in to get neutered and Carson was so worried about him. He cried all the way to school because he didn't want to leave Doc at the hospital to get his tonsils out because it would hurt. He said "Doc got and ear fection and he has to get his tonsils out? I want to go get him and bring him home. I can't image our life without this little guy. He lights up our life and brings so much joy into our home. It is funny how much more patient you are with the last one and how bad you want them to stay little. I so wish that I would have been that way with Hayden and Maycee. I was in such a hurry with them. Everyday I look at these kids and thank my Heavenly Father for the joy that they are in my life. What a blessing and how lucky I am that they call me Mom.

We are still alive
Hi all! Okay quick run down. We moved to Newdale a year and 2 months ago. We like it here except wish that the weather was a little nicer. Paul was working with his Dad and Brother, but we quickly found out that wasn't what we were told it was going to be. We are just getting ready to start our new adventure. (More later as not all wrapped up yet.) I am working at the Homestead 1 day a week and love it there. Red (Hayden) just finished major baseball and there team took 3rd in tournament. We are so proud of him. He is such an athlete. Maycee is also playing softball and is in chicken and cooking 4H. She loves being involves as she is very social?(Wonder where she gets that.) Carson is our little buddy. He is so much fun, and always keeps us laughing. Will randomly ask "Do you want me punch you in da face?" He also informs me that he has a belly once in a while incase I forget. We love our ward here and have a lot of great friends. Though we really miss the friends from Nampa. Well that is about it in a nut shell.

UTAH!
So this weekend was so great. I left Friday morning and drove to Utah. First I stopped in Twin Falls and said hi to my brother, who proceeded to buy me two pairs of super cute shoes. He manages the Journeys. Thanks Casey you are such a sweetheart. Yes this is going to be full of shameless plugs. Next I went to Clearfield and saw my friend Robyn and got to check out her Dance Studio, Dancelife Studio. It is so cute and I got to watch her teach. She has a facebook page and everyone should go check it out and become a fan. Maycee and I got matching Dance life sweatshirts and they are so dang cute. Thanks Robyn we love Dancelife Studios. I drove to Eagle Mountain and spent some time doing ACN meetings for Willy, Pam and Lionel and they went great. Thanks guys I have so much fun working with you and love being able to call you friends. Next to Braun and Tara's to see Emery(she talked to me and didn't even glare one time. Maybe it is because I didn't buy her ugly shoes.) and love on Anisten oh man she is the cutest baby ever. We just watched tv and talked Tara and I ate yummy junk and it was great. Tara is a such a doll and I am so glad that she is in our family. I have never met a such a sweetheart. I don't think there is a mean bone in her body. And she is so stinkin talented I can't even describe it. Just go to www.bitsyblossoms.com you will love her car bags they are great. Thank you Tara I love you. I had so much fun and can't wait to get together again. Come see us soon. I had conferences for our business www.hmcwood.acnrep.com and then went and had dinner with Robyn, Brix and Pacen it was so fun to catch up and what cute little boys. Robyn is the greatest mommy ever. Then I drove back to Twin Falls and went to the smoker (boxing)with Casey and then went and got creamed at bowling. It was so fun to hang with Casey he is such a great brother and I am so glad that he let me stay. The only way the trip would have been better would have been if the family was there. I missed my hubby and kids. I got home Sunday at about 9:00 am and then went to church. Sunday we did the super bowl party thing at Grandpa and Grandma Thueson's complete with Pizza, veggie tray, better than sex cake(not quite but close) and homeade icecream. It was a great weekend with good food and GREAT COMPANY!

Missing Santa....
It is official...I am the worst blogger ever. I always think about it and then I forget.
My good friend Elena reminds me now and then that I need to update.
So here we go. Christmas at our house was good, we just stayed home and had Paul's Dad and brother Tom and my sister Kayla all stayed at our place. My Parents and my brother Beau came in super earlier in the morning despite the terrible roads. We opened gifts, laughed and just had a great time. Then we went to breakfast at Denny's Greg bought....Thanks you. It was so nice not to have to cook and clean up. Then we came home and played guitar hero, dance dance revolution, battleship, farm, tractors, and some even got a nap in. It was great. My folks left and we went to Paul's Grandparents and had dinner with his twin brother Kent and his Mom , Greg and Tom it was a really good time and really good food. The kids opened more presents and we visited. It was a really great Christmas spent with family.
Okay for the funny story the night before Christmas, Paul was asked by some of our friends to play Santa. We had been at my Grandparents in Parma and the weather was terrible it was snowing and blowing and it took me forever to get home. Anyways Paul's Dad dropped him off and then came here to the house. I was still on my way home. I got home and got the kids unloaded and got a phone call saying Paul was done. So Greg and Tom said we will go get him. 20 minutes later they were still not back they had missed the turn and gone to far. Our friends only live about a mile from our house. So I called my friend to find out if they were there. Keep in mind the roads were really bad and it was snowing and blowing so hard. She said that Paul had left about 20 minutes ago to walk to the corner to get picked up so that he wouldn't get caught by the kids..... then Greg called and said that they couldn't find Paul, but were following fresh tracks in the snow. I really thought they were just being funny. I jumped in my car so did Heather and Greg and Tom were still driving around. As I rounded the corner of our street and headed to Dallin Woods. I saw this figure walking down the street holding something in his hand. It was almost solid white. Yes it was my husband poor guy had walked home because he had waited for like 15 minutes and no one had picked him up. In his hand was a plate of goodies that were soaking wet and running everywhere. Who says that Santa can't get lost......

Merry Christmas
It has been so long since I have blogged. Things have been so crazy. I can't believe that Christmas is almost here.
I decided instead of sending out cards this year, I am going to blog and email a little letter to tell everyone how our year went.
We will start with Paul. He is still driving for John Pocock and loves trucking except for the being away from the family part. John is so good to us and Paul really enjoys working for him.
They released Paul from the Elders Quoram Presidency and now he is teaching the 14 yr old Sunday School class. I think he enjoys it.
I am busy as usually raising 3 very busy kids. I am still doing a little bit of hair out of the house and on Mondays I work for 4 hours at a transitional rehab for elderly people doing hair and I love it, the only downfall is I get to attached to my patients. I have mostly been focusing on our ACN business and have traveled a little this past year for conferences to Detroit, New Jersey and Anaheim California. I just got home from Cali and had a chance to visit a very good friend in Huntington Beach. It was so much fun to spend time with her.
Hayden, played football this year, there team had a hard year and didn't win one game, but Hayden did awesome and had 9 interceptions and several touchdowns. The kid always has a ball in his hand. He is such an incredible athlete. He is also getting amazing grades and has aced every spelling test this year he is in 4th grade. He loves spending time with his friends, and the phone rings off the hook with friends calling to play. He is also in scouts and enjoys that. Hayden is an awesome help and has been doing a little babisitting for me know and then. He will always be my little bud.
Miss Maycee, we love this girl, she has such a sense of imagination. She is also playing office and can walk better in my heals that I can( I am not even kidding.) Maycee loves school, mostly the social part. She is trying really hard to keep up. I think that if she spent less time talking and more working she would be a super student. (Poor girl got her mothers talking ability.) Maycee also loves to be with her friends. She loves saying the prayer before meals and at bedtime and puts a lot of thought into them. Maycee loves to cuddle on the couch with Mom and can't wait for the weekends for Dad to get home. She is our little Princess Pie and we don't know what we would do without her.
Carson, I think that this boy must be the busiest kid on the planet. Last week when I was getting dressed he flushed a liter of Shampoo down the toilet, I mean the bottle not just the shampoo. That same day he poured almost an entire bottle of dish soap in the dishwasher also fun to clean out. If I can't find something, it is usually in the vase in my room. He has just started to fold his arms and bow his head for prayer and we says 5-10 prayers a meal now. Carson doesn't say hi or bye, he will blow you a giant kiss as loud as possible, these he give freely today in fact every person we passed in the aisles of the store got one. He can also count this is because he spend so much time in the corner, sometimes will go to the corner and count himself if he is mad at me. Carson LOVES his Daddy and will have nothing to do with me when Paul is anywhere around. He has a sense of humor like his Dad and loves to tease. He also loves tractors.
Well that is our family news.
We want all of you to know how Grateful for the birth of our Savior. We wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and my we all remember the true meaning of the season.
We LOVE you all.
The Woods!

Maycee political veiws
So who knew that my 6 year old would care so much about who won the presidential election. I was super sick in bed on Tuesday and my friend had all of my kids. At about 5pm I got a call from Emalee and she said that Maycee was really upset and wanted to come home. I asked her what was going on and she said that Maycee asked her who she was going to vote for and when Emalee said Obama, Maycee proceeded to freak out and tell her that she was bad and she didn't ever want to come to her house again. Ok so she is a little extreme. I told her to send Maycer home and when she came in the door she was in tears sobbing actually. I had her climb up on my bed and aked her why she was so upset. She explained how Hayden (such a helper) had told her on the way home from school that if Obama won that he would change there school name and our flag. Well this just completely thru her over the edge...(Note to self, remind brother to not have political discussions with 6 year old sister.) I felt bad for this poor little girl she was so afraid and confused. I did her calmed down about an hour later when the phone rang and it was for Maycee. Her little friend Gavin called to talk about who was winning and how many points Obama had and how many McCain had, this conversation went on for 20 minute. She fell asleep on the floor at 8:00 after fighting it as long as she could as to find out who the actual winner would be.The next morning the first words out of her mouth where who won. I told her Obama and she began to cry and informed me that she wasn't going to school because it wouldn't be the same.
Yes she is very DRAMATIC, but yes that is why we love her.
I never remember even caring about who won as President until after I was married I think.
Oh she is growing up so fast.

When talking we discovered that are oldest where the same age....No I mean the exact same age, Same birthday. They have since moved to Idaho Falls and we miss them terribly. Anyways..... Elena sent me a pic of the kids joint birthday party we did for the kids. We barely knew each other, but it was so much fun.
Elena Thank You for the picture, I can't believe how much our little babies have grown.

Hayden is 10!!!
My little boy is 10. I am dying right now. I can remember so perfectly the day he was born. I never thought that it would be possible to feel that way about anyone. I can't describe how much I love my little Red. Although he isn't so little anymore. It goes by so fast and sometimes I wish that I would have savored the little moments, instead of being in such a hurry. What an awesome young man he is becoming.
I don't have pictures to post of his birthday party that we celebrated yesterday, with a vanilla cake that I food colored orange with blue cream cheese frosting (Go Boise State) per Haydens request. He got a Boise State sweatshirt, that Dad wrapped in a cereal box and duct tape. It was funny to watch him open it. It only took about 8 minutes.
Today, he had to go on a treasure hunt to get the rest of his presents. It was fun to watch him running around the neighborhood. When he got to his final destination where his treats and gift were, he divided his candy up in 2 piles and kept one for himself and gave the other to his little sister. What a good kid.
Just a side note, he is not always that nice to his sister. I wouldn't want anyone to think we are perfect over here.
Anyways.....Hayden, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!! I want you to know that I LOVE you so much. You were my saving grace and my angel. Have a great day.
Love Mom!!

Pictures
So I decided that I should get Carson's 1 year pics taken, since he is 16 months. I know I know I am not to on the ball. I had my friend Tawnie take them and the turned out so cute. I love them. Anyway we got a few of the Hayden and Maycee, and some of the 3 kids and me. We wish Paul could have been home so that we could have had Family pics taken, but you know how it goes. Anyway, I think that they turned out cute. Let me know what you think.

Fun with the Beck's
Paul and I took Carson and went over to Wes and April's house. We had so much fun after a quick run to Subway(get your health on) for April and I and then a stop at Carls Jr. for the boys we went back and watched the BSU game.
We haven't laughed that hard for a long time. Maybe since the last time we hung out with them. We are so lucky to have good friends.
Thanks you guys.
I wish I had some pics of April with foils in her hair to post, but I forgot my camera.

Judgement

I have been thinking a lot this past week about how grateful I am that our Heavenly Father is the judge. I think because we are human we have a tendency to judge even when we don't mean to. I know I have often thought that someone has life really easy and how great it would be in someone elses shoes only to find out that they are having there own struggles that others know nothing about. We just never know what kind of pain people are going thru. So many people that we love may be living lives of quiet despairation.
This year we have many family members and great family friends go thru some really tough struggles. We have even had some of our own. It is so comforting to me to know that the Lord knows each one of us individually and that he understands even the worst heartache and pain, because he had to experience them for the atonement to work.
So for those that we Love who have had some devastating events this year and feel like you can't make it through, know that we are praying for you and I know that the Lord knows and loves each of us as individuals he knows our pain and he is here to comfort us.
My intent was not to sound preachy, I just have had this running thru my mind all week.
Our family loves you and wishes you well.

I love this picture. Carson loves to ride on Maycee's bike. He thinks he is so big and she is such a sweetie and gives him rides. Hayden and Maycee are so good with him. I am so lucky to have 3 very healthy kids. I am so thankful that I have been blessed to have them is my home. So Hayden, Maycee and Carson, Thank You for letting me be your mom. I Love your little guts!
