UTAH!

So this weekend was so great. I left Friday morning and drove to Utah. First I stopped in Twin Falls and said hi to my brother, who proceeded to buy me two pairs of super cute shoes. He manages the Journeys. Thanks Casey you are such a sweetheart. Yes this is going to be full of shameless plugs. Next I went to Clearfield and saw my friend Robyn and got to check out her Dance Studio, Dancelife Studio. It is so cute and I got to watch her teach. She has a facebook page and everyone should go check it out and become a fan. Maycee and I got matching Dance life sweatshirts and they are so dang cute. Thanks Robyn we love Dancelife Studios. I drove to Eagle Mountain and spent some time doing ACN meetings for Willy, Pam and Lionel and they went great. Thanks guys I have so much fun working with you and love being able to call you friends. Next to Braun and Tara's to see Emery(she talked to me and didn't even glare one time. Maybe it is because I didn't buy her ugly shoes.) and love on Anisten oh man she is the cutest baby ever. We just watched tv and talked Tara and I ate yummy junk and it was great. Tara is a such a doll and I am so glad that she is in our family. I have never met a such a sweetheart. I don't think there is a mean bone in her body. And she is so stinkin talented I can't even describe it. Just go to www.bitsyblossoms.com you will love her car bags they are great. Thank you Tara I love you. I had so much fun and can't wait to get together again. Come see us soon. I had conferences for our business www.hmcwood.acnrep.com and then went and had dinner with Robyn, Brix and Pacen it was so fun to catch up and what cute little boys. Robyn is the greatest mommy ever. Then I drove back to Twin Falls and went to the smoker (boxing)with Casey and then went and got creamed at bowling. It was so fun to hang with Casey he is such a great brother and I am so glad that he let me stay. The only way the trip would have been better would have been if the family was there. I missed my hubby and kids. I got home Sunday at about 9:00 am and then went to church. Sunday we did the super bowl party thing at Grandpa and Grandma Thueson's complete with Pizza, veggie tray, better than sex cake(not quite but close) and homeade icecream. It was a great weekend with good food and GREAT COMPANY!

Missing Santa....

It is official...I am the worst blogger ever. I always think about it and then I forget.
My good friend Elena reminds me now and then that I need to update.
So here we go. Christmas at our house was good, we just stayed home and had Paul's Dad and brother Tom and my sister Kayla all stayed at our place. My Parents and my brother Beau came in super earlier in the morning despite the terrible roads. We opened gifts, laughed and just had a great time. Then we went to breakfast at Denny's Greg bought....Thanks you. It was so nice not to have to cook and clean up. Then we came home and played guitar hero, dance dance revolution, battleship, farm, tractors, and some even got a nap in. It was great. My folks left and we went to Paul's Grandparents and had dinner with his twin brother Kent and his Mom , Greg and Tom it was a really good time and really good food. The kids opened more presents and we visited. It was a really great Christmas spent with family.
Okay for the funny story the night before Christmas, Paul was asked by some of our friends to play Santa. We had been at my Grandparents in Parma and the weather was terrible it was snowing and blowing and it took me forever to get home. Anyways Paul's Dad dropped him off and then came here to the house. I was still on my way home. I got home and got the kids unloaded and got a phone call saying Paul was done. So Greg and Tom said we will go get him. 20 minutes later they were still not back they had missed the turn and gone to far. Our friends only live about a mile from our house. So I called my friend to find out if they were there. Keep in mind the roads were really bad and it was snowing and blowing so hard. She said that Paul had left about 20 minutes ago to walk to the corner to get picked up so that he wouldn't get caught by the kids..... then Greg called and said that they couldn't find Paul, but were following fresh tracks in the snow. I really thought they were just being funny. I jumped in my car so did Heather and Greg and Tom were still driving around. As I rounded the corner of our street and headed to Dallin Woods. I saw this figure walking down the street holding something in his hand. It was almost solid white. Yes it was my husband poor guy had walked home because he had waited for like 15 minutes and no one had picked him up. In his hand was a plate of goodies that were soaking wet and running everywhere. Who says that Santa can't get lost......

Merry Christmas

It has been so long since I have blogged. Things have been so crazy. I can't believe that Christmas is almost here.

I decided instead of sending out cards this year, I am going to blog and email a little letter to tell everyone how our year went.

We will start with Paul. He is still driving for John Pocock and loves trucking except for the being away from the family part. John is so good to us and Paul really enjoys working for him.

They released Paul from the Elders Quoram Presidency and now he is teaching the 14 yr old Sunday School class. I think he enjoys it.

I am busy as usually raising 3 very busy kids. I am still doing a little bit of hair out of the house and on Mondays I work for 4 hours at a transitional rehab for elderly people doing hair and I love it, the only downfall is I get to attached to my patients. I have mostly been focusing on our ACN business and have traveled a little this past year for conferences to Detroit, New Jersey and Anaheim California. I just got home from Cali and had a chance to visit a very good friend in Huntington Beach. It was so much fun to spend time with her.

Hayden, played football this year, there team had a hard year and didn't win one game, but Hayden did awesome and had 9 interceptions and several touchdowns. The kid always has a ball in his hand. He is such an incredible athlete. He is also getting amazing grades and has aced every spelling test this year he is in 4th grade. He loves spending time with his friends, and the phone rings off the hook with friends calling to play. He is also in scouts and enjoys that. Hayden is an awesome help and has been doing a little babisitting for me know and then. He will always be my little bud.

Miss Maycee, we love this girl, she has such a sense of imagination. She is also playing office and can walk better in my heals that I can( I am not even kidding.) Maycee loves school, mostly the social part. She is trying really hard to keep up. I think that if she spent less time talking and more working she would be a super student. (Poor girl got her mothers talking ability.) Maycee also loves to be with her friends. She loves saying the prayer before meals and at bedtime and puts a lot of thought into them. Maycee loves to cuddle on the couch with Mom and can't wait for the weekends for Dad to get home. She is our little Princess Pie and we don't know what we would do without her.

Carson, I think that this boy must be the busiest kid on the planet. Last week when I was getting dressed he flushed a liter of Shampoo down the toilet, I mean the bottle not just the shampoo. That same day he poured almost an entire bottle of dish soap in the dishwasher also fun to clean out. If I can't find something, it is usually in the vase in my room. He has just started to fold his arms and bow his head for prayer and we says 5-10 prayers a meal now. Carson doesn't say hi or bye, he will blow you a giant kiss as loud as possible, these he give freely today in fact every person we passed in the aisles of the store got one. He can also count this is because he spend so much time in the corner, sometimes will go to the corner and count himself if he is mad at me. Carson LOVES his Daddy and will have nothing to do with me when Paul is anywhere around. He has a sense of humor like his Dad and loves to tease. He also loves tractors.

Well that is our family news.

We want all of you to know how Grateful for the birth of our Savior. We wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and my we all remember the true meaning of the season.

We LOVE you all.

Maycee political veiws

So who knew that my 6 year old would care so much about who won the presidential election. I was super sick in bed on Tuesday and my friend had all of my kids. At about 5pm I got a call from Emalee and she said that Maycee was really upset and wanted to come home. I asked her what was going on and she said that Maycee asked her who she was going to vote for and when Emalee said Obama, Maycee proceeded to freak out and tell her that she was bad and she didn't ever want to come to her house again. Ok so she is a little extreme. I told her to send Maycer home and when she came in the door she was in tears sobbing actually. I had her climb up on my bed and aked her why she was so upset. She explained how Hayden (such a helper) had told her on the way home from school that if Obama won that he would change there school name and our flag. Well this just completely thru her over the edge...(Note to self, remind brother to not have political discussions with 6 year old sister.) I felt bad for this poor little girl she was so afraid and confused. I did her calmed down about an hour later when the phone rang and it was for Maycee. Her little friend Gavin called to talk about who was winning and how many points Obama had and how many McCain had, this conversation went on for 20 minute. She fell asleep on the floor at 8:00 after fighting it as long as she could as to find out who the actual winner would be.The next morning the first words out of her mouth where who won. I told her Obama and she began to cry and informed me that she wasn't going to school because it wouldn't be the same.
Yes she is very DRAMATIC, but yes that is why we love her.
I never remember even caring about who won as President until after I was married I think.
Oh she is growing up so fast.

Okay so when we first moved to Nampa, I met this sweet lady whom I became very good friends with later. When talking we discovered that are oldest where the same age....No I mean the exact same age, Same birthday. They have since moved to Idaho Falls and we miss them terribly. Anyways..... Elena sent me a pic of the kids joint birthday party we did for the kids. We barely knew each other, but it was so much fun.

Elena Thank You for the picture, I can't believe how much our little babies have grown.

Here is the before and after.
