Merry Christmas

It has been so long since I have blogged. Things have been so crazy. I can't believe that Christmas is almost here.

I decided instead of sending out cards this year, I am going to blog and email a little letter to tell everyone how our year went.

We will start with Paul. He is still driving for John Pocock and loves trucking except for the being away from the family part. John is so good to us and Paul really enjoys working for him.

They released Paul from the Elders Quoram Presidency and now he is teaching the 14 yr old Sunday School class. I think he enjoys it.

I am busy as usually raising 3 very busy kids. I am still doing a little bit of hair out of the house and on Mondays I work for 4 hours at a transitional rehab for elderly people doing hair and I love it, the only downfall is I get to attached to my patients. I have mostly been focusing on our ACN business and have traveled a little this past year for conferences to Detroit, New Jersey and Anaheim California. I just got home from Cali and had a chance to visit a very good friend in Huntington Beach. It was so much fun to spend time with her.

Hayden, played football this year, there team had a hard year and didn't win one game, but Hayden did awesome and had 9 interceptions and several touchdowns. The kid always has a ball in his hand. He is such an incredible athlete. He is also getting amazing grades and has aced every spelling test this year he is in 4th grade. He loves spending time with his friends, and the phone rings off the hook with friends calling to play. He is also in scouts and enjoys that. Hayden is an awesome help and has been doing a little babisitting for me know and then. He will always be my little bud.

Miss Maycee, we love this girl, she has such a sense of imagination. She is also playing office and can walk better in my heals that I can( I am not even kidding.) Maycee loves school, mostly the social part. She is trying really hard to keep up. I think that if she spent less time talking and more working she would be a super student. (Poor girl got her mothers talking ability.) Maycee also loves to be with her friends. She loves saying the prayer before meals and at bedtime and puts a lot of thought into them. Maycee loves to cuddle on the couch with Mom and can't wait for the weekends for Dad to get home. She is our little Princess Pie and we don't know what we would do without her.

Carson, I think that this boy must be the busiest kid on the planet. Last week when I was getting dressed he flushed a liter of Shampoo down the toilet, I mean the bottle not just the shampoo. That same day he poured almost an entire bottle of dish soap in the dishwasher also fun to clean out. If I can't find something, it is usually in the vase in my room. He has just started to fold his arms and bow his head for prayer and we says 5-10 prayers a meal now. Carson doesn't say hi or bye, he will blow you a giant kiss as loud as possible, these he give freely today in fact every person we passed in the aisles of the store got one. He can also count this is because he spend so much time in the corner, sometimes will go to the corner and count himself if he is mad at me. Carson LOVES his Daddy and will have nothing to do with me when Paul is anywhere around. He has a sense of humor like his Dad and loves to tease. He also loves tractors.

Well that is our family news.

We want all of you to know how Grateful for the birth of our Savior. We wish you all a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS, and my we all remember the true meaning of the season.

We LOVE you all.

Maycee political veiws

So who knew that my 6 year old would care so much about who won the presidential election. I was super sick in bed on Tuesday and my friend had all of my kids. At about 5pm I got a call from Emalee and she said that Maycee was really upset and wanted to come home. I asked her what was going on and she said that Maycee asked her who she was going to vote for and when Emalee said Obama, Maycee proceeded to freak out and tell her that she was bad and she didn't ever want to come to her house again. Ok so she is a little extreme. I told her to send Maycer home and when she came in the door she was in tears sobbing actually. I had her climb up on my bed and aked her why she was so upset. She explained how Hayden (such a helper) had told her on the way home from school that if Obama won that he would change there school name and our flag. Well this just completely thru her over the edge...(Note to self, remind brother to not have political discussions with 6 year old sister.) I felt bad for this poor little girl she was so afraid and confused. I did her calmed down about an hour later when the phone rang and it was for Maycee. Her little friend Gavin called to talk about who was winning and how many points Obama had and how many McCain had, this conversation went on for 20 minute. She fell asleep on the floor at 8:00 after fighting it as long as she could as to find out who the actual winner would be.The next morning the first words out of her mouth where who won. I told her Obama and she began to cry and informed me that she wasn't going to school because it wouldn't be the same.
Yes she is very DRAMATIC, but yes that is why we love her.
I never remember even caring about who won as President until after I was married I think.
Oh she is growing up so fast.

Okay so when we first moved to Nampa, I met this sweet lady whom I became very good friends with later. When talking we discovered that are oldest where the same age....No I mean the exact same age, Same birthday. They have since moved to Idaho Falls and we miss them terribly. Anyways..... Elena sent me a pic of the kids joint birthday party we did for the kids. We barely knew each other, but it was so much fun.

Elena Thank You for the picture, I can't believe how much our little babies have grown.

Hayden is 10!!!

My little boy is 10. I am dying right now. I can remember so perfectly the day he was born. I never thought that it would be possible to feel that way about anyone. I can't describe how much I love my little Red. Although he isn't so little anymore. It goes by so fast and sometimes I wish that I would have savored the little moments, instead of being in such a hurry. What an awesome young man he is becoming.
I don't have pictures to post of his birthday party that we celebrated yesterday, with a vanilla cake that I food colored orange with blue cream cheese frosting (Go Boise State) per Haydens request. He got a Boise State sweatshirt, that Dad wrapped in a cereal box and duct tape. It was funny to watch him open it. It only took about 8 minutes.
Today, he had to go on a treasure hunt to get the rest of his presents. It was fun to watch him running around the neighborhood. When he got to his final destination where his treats and gift were, he divided his candy up in 2 piles and kept one for himself and gave the other to his little sister. What a good kid.
Just a side note, he is not always that nice to his sister. I wouldn't want anyone to think we are perfect over here.
Anyways.....Hayden, HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUDDY!!!! I want you to know that I LOVE you so much. You were my saving grace and my angel. Have a great day.
Love Mom!!

Pictures

So I decided that I should get Carson's 1 year pics taken, since he is 16 months. I know I know I am not to on the ball. I had my friend Tawnie take them and the turned out so cute. I love them. Anyway we got a few of the Hayden and Maycee, and some of the 3 kids and me. We wish Paul could have been home so that we could have had Family pics taken, but you know how it goes. Anyway, I think that they turned out cute. Let me know what you think.

Fun with the Beck's

Paul and I took Carson and went over to Wes and April's house. We had so much fun after a quick run to Subway(get your health on) for April and I and then a stop at Carls Jr. for the boys we went back and watched the BSU game.
We haven't laughed that hard for a long time. Maybe since the last time we hung out with them. We are so lucky to have good friends.
Thanks you guys.
I wish I had some pics of April with foils in her hair to post, but I forgot my camera.
